Wow....I feel like I keep saying that a lot lately!!
Our total raised just went up to $8,519!! In the past 24 hours we have received over $750 in donations!! Thank you!! Also I would like to extend a special thank you to my friend & colleague, Victoria Murphy (Heart & Art Custom Quilts)--Victoria was very generous and donated a beautiful lap quilt titled "The Front Nine". This quilt is up for auction at the Golf Tournament that Mike's dad, Marc is hosting for us out in Chilliwack this weekend. I hope we get some good bids on it....it's gorgeous and worth $125 for retail purchase. Anyone wanting to order a custom quilt, please email us and I will pass on the contact ph#. Also need to thank our friend and fellow gamer, Dan B for doing up a banner to thank our proud sponsors for this weekends' Gaming Tournament. Can't wait to see it and put it up for all to see. We have a lot of talented and generous people in our lives. You are all wonderful!! Spoke to a couple more people today who said they were happy to help us out with our fundraising goal, so we will keep updating that thermometer as the funds keep coming in. If you are free tomorrow come on out to the Marpole Curling Club at 8730 Heather Street, Vancouver (10am to Midnight; and 10am to 6pm Sunday) and play some games $30 for the weekend, $50 for couples and $15 for the day.
